Object Activation Framework for GNOME. OAF has asimilar purpose to gnorba, the GNOME 1.x CORBA activation library, andwill replace it for GNOME 2.0.It allows you to do much more powerful activation queries than gnorba. Each server is described by an XML file that defines it'sattributes. When querying or activating, one may specify complexrequirements using the OAF query language.
My GNOME basically crapped out - Galeon and Nautilus refuse to work, and I can't compile or install Gconf's latest source as well due to problems with OAF version conflicts. Am I doing something wrong?

Just a notes:
1) it happened to me that C++ STL tree.h was in search path before gnome-xml's tree.h so it get accidentaly included
2) 0.6.4 checks for 'perl5.00404' binary instead for just 'perl', which forces users using other version of perl to make symlink from /bin/perl or whatever. 0.6.3 was OK in this.
