Its clean design and advanced features make it excellent in both production and research environments, and it is user-supported with complete source. NetBSD runs on over forty different system architectures featuring eleven distinct families of CPUs, and is being ported to more.NetBSD 3.1 contains many bugfixes, security updates, new drivers and new features like support for Xen3 DomU.
