Fingerstring is a very simple but extremely flexible database. It is designed for end users as a tool for organizing and accessing the various kinds of information that people store on computers. Like most end user software, it has a 'point and click' GUI; unlike most databases, using Fingerstring does not require using a programming language. It is not a relational database; it uses Mnemona, an object-based information management scheme. It can also be used as a local search engine.
