Stellarium is a free open source planetarium for your computer. It shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope. Stellarium is being used in planetarium projectors. Just set your coordinates and go.

I have it and it's great for people who like exploring space from there pc or laptop and even better... It's pretty much unlimited to how far out into space you can go. Great quality! If you're looking to see galaxies and stuff, I would advise downloading Google Earth: Sky map first.
