I'm running RH 7.3 and Win2000 in a VMWare window, you need a fast PC to handle the two concurrent OS. It is possible to have more than two OS running at any one time. Virtual PCs, or multiple instances of an OS.
It takes some work to get it going but it pays off. You can cut and paste from one OS to the other OS. But still has some performance issues, specifically related to disk accesses (under Win'98 at least) and bootup time. A bit costly too.
