An easy to use text editor. Intended to be usable with little or no instruction. Provides both a terminal (curses based) interface and native X-Windows interface (in which case the executable is called xae). Features include pop-up menus, journalling (to recover from system crash or loss of connection), cut-and-paste, and multiple buffers (associated with files or not).
Aee is an easy to use text editor for anyone. It shows all keys that you can use in a small section of the screen - always. You will never be lost. You will never have to browse through help texts that only professors can understand.
After installing Linux, the first thing I do is install Aee.
