KNOPPIX

Sunday, October 31st, 2004 - Anonymous Post.
What can I say, I tried Knoppix a year or so ago and think it's really cool.
It's got loads of features and is very powerful as far as usefulness and tools go...
it's good for Secure Communications, Word processing, Office work or Web browsing, Multimedia and Software/Web development and it just keeps getting better with every realease. It's amazing how well made it is and it's got all the Unix/Linux style command-line functionalities that save time and don't waste your precious CPU cycles like the commercial and often over graphically challenged Operating systems like Microsoft Windows,
but we love the look sometimes for ease of use or just the beauty of colour. Knoppix has a fantastic Graphical User Interface (GUI) that's more flexible and you can run a lot of stuff with or without the GUI, and that's one of the great things about it, you can configure almost everything you like.
I can't say enough about how good it is.
