Conversion Tools

Graphics conversion software changes images from one file format to another, often in batches. Netpbm supplies a set of command-line image converters and basic image-processing utilities. gif2png converts GIF files to PNG while retaining transparency and interlacing, and its companion web2png can process groups of web images. These tools focus on format conversion rather than full image editing.
