Appwerx EXPRESSO is a Java applet streaming technology that significantly decreases the time it takes to load java applets, streaming their code, images and resources across the net.
Applets deployed with EXPRESSO are analyzed, to determine the optimal order to stream code, images and resources. These parts are then compressed into a resource stream, using compression superior to conventional .jar and .zip.
The EXPRESSO applet loader, a small 7kb program, transparently stream and decompress the parts of the applet. Streamed applets start faster because applet execution occurs concurrently with the streaming process, and the parts needed first are sent first.
Appwerx EXPRESSO will reorder and compress any Java applet for optimal deployment.
