GLiro is the GTK+ version of Liro. TK and Dialog versions were once planned but never done. Liro means Liro isn't for RPMs only. It is a program which searches for words in the file lists of archives. For example you have hundreds of tgz files and you are searching for a file but you don't know which tgz contains that file. But gLiro will find it, if this file is in one of these tgz files. gLiro supports RPM, cpio and tgz archives. But soon it'll support more than these. gLiro was written completely in C with GTK+ 1.2.6 but earlier version should work, too.
