MyVoIPSpeed Server very accurately measures the quality and performance of Internet connections for Voice over IP (VoIP) usage by simulating UDP VoIP sessions between a server and browser clients. Connections are tested for jitter, packet loss and bandwidth consistency. Download and upload bandwidth speeds are also measured. Reported metrics include max pause, round trip time, and QOS (bandwidth consistency). The Professional version includes a performance database that records all bandwidth test results, session ID tracking, socket-to-socket speed testing, and HTTP speed testing. The NOC Edition can perform automated testing from one or more remote locations, providing information for network operation centers to analyze VoIP quality, network quality and troubleshoot performance issues. As a Java applet, MyVoIPSpeed Server is easily incorporated into customized Web pages.
