PMfax Lite is a facsimile application for Linux. The Linux version is an X application, but also supports the ability to log out while continuing to send and receive faxes and voice messages. The free PMfax Lite version includes unlimited fax sending, fax receiving, and also provides a fax filter/printer so that you can print and fax from all your Linux applications using PostScript or text. The commercial PMfax Pro and PMfax LAN products add fax editing, scripting, and voice answering machine features, and other features.
