The User Filter plug-in is a generic filter plug-in for The Gimp that allows the development of filters without the need to learn about The Gimp's API. Its scripting language is fully compatible with the well-known Filter Factory for Photoshop from Adobe and therefore you can also make use of the vast amount of freely available FF filters that can be found on the WWW.
