Terminal Emulators
Terminal emulators display command-line sessions inside a graphical desktop. rxvt and Eterm provide color VT102-style terminals as alternatives to xterm. Other entries add terminal windows with different display and configuration options. These applications let users run shells and text-based programs without leaving the desktop environment.
