Tellico is a collection manager for KDE, with support for books, videos, music, and bibliographies. For books, it tracks 25 fields by default, such as title, author, publisher, etc. It supports unlimited user-defined fields, collection searching and filtering, and ISBN validation. Tellico imports CSV, Bibtex, and Bibtexml, and exports to CSV, Bibtex, Bibtexml, and HTML.

Tellico allows you to enter your collection in a catalogue database, saving many different properties like title, author, etc. Two different views of your collection are shown. On the left, your entries are grouped together by any field you like, allowing you to see how many are in each group. On the right, selected fields are shown in column format, allowing you to sort by any field.

Great product
By morleron on Saturday, May 8, 2004.

I've been using Bookcase for almost two years now and have found it to be an excellent product in all regards. Robby Stephenson has refined and improved this package a lot over the last few months and his improvements have been well thought out and implemented. I've had a couple of problems building the package and Robby has always been very helpful in diagnosing the problems and either fixing them in the source or suggesting workarounds. All in all I highly recommend this product for anyone who has collections that they need to keep track of.
