I love this tool

Phorum is the best web-bbs-tool, I have ever seen. It is fast, looks great is easy to use, has a great admin-interface, can deal with multiple users and it is free. The only think that is not very good is the stupid message-deleting-function in the admin-tool: One can only enter the number of the message and there is no way to find it without opening a new browser, accessing the phorum, pointing at the message to be deleted and look into the status-bar of the browser. Anyway: This is far the best board, I have ever seen! Pilif

Can someone explain this?

Ok..For my page i want good phorum. And I have seen sample ones from Phorum.org. I think they are really neat. I just don't know what it all means. I'm not understaning any of it. I'm new to this kind of things, like CGI and things. So if any of you have the time to explain to me in detail how to get one of these phorums for me, please email me at: bounty555@hotmail.com Thanks.

Easiest bb for your users

I've installed a lot of bbs in my time - most of them don't understand the behaviour of a typical web user - Phorum does! It's really simple to use - people read threaded or flat topics and can post a reply straight away. No complicated login or registration. Users love it and I've had no user support requests - which is quite strange considering my audience are not web savy at all (Husky Mushers). Easy to set up and maintain. Still room for improvement - but the development team are working well and seem to maintain a focus on user centered design.
