Ras, Redundant Archive System.
Updated by Editors on Tuesday, September 14, 1999.Redundant Archive System: given n original files, rasgenerates m extra files such that the original files can be regenerated from any n of the n+m original files and extra files. n+m cannot be more than 256. The extra files can be the same size as the largest original file.
