VisualRoute combines Traceroute, Ping, Whois, reverse DNS and other networking tools in one easy-to-use program. VisualRoute analyzes Internet connections to quickly locate where an outage or slowdown occurs. The network service provider is identified for each hop of a connection path, and worldwide domain and network Whois information enables quick problem or abuse reporting. The physical city/country locations of IP addresses and Web servers are identified on a global map, displaying the geographical path of a connection. The 2008 release adds IPv6 compatability, mutiple route discovery, and updated IP location database.

Visual Route

While running Sun Java j2re 1.4.1_01 this application does nothing but crash. In fact running anything other than Blackdown's version does not seem to work and Blackdowns does not seem to work in Mozilla or Galeon so the only true option here is running Sun's which this app does not appear to work correctly with. The people at Visualware don't seem to have anything to say about this either as i have contacted them several times whith no response. In Short: Don't waste you time.
