WayV is a project to develop experimental user interfaces and Open Source hand writing/gesture recognition. This is achieved by allowing a user to draw shapes with a pointing device (such as a mouse) to cause an action to occur. For example, one could draw an N anywhere on the desktop and Netscape will start, or a C to make xcalc start, or a B to send the b keypress to your window manager, etc.
