K.R.S.S. (KDE´s Rich Site Summary viewer) will download Rich Site Summary (RDF/RSS) documents from news sites and display them in a ticker-tape fashion on your desktop. Thousands of news sites use RSS documents, which provide a brief listing of news items as well as information about a site.
