The Performance Simulator for Linux on Power has been updated to add support for the POWER5+ processor to the model suite. This suite of performance models uses a Java-based graphical user interface that allows users to examine the execution of their code through the aid of color-coding and real-time event definitions that can help identify and avoid common performance hazards.
