Lexxia is a multipurpose XML/XSLT processor that incorporates parsing from source documents (XML, HTML, CSV, RJ and plain text). It has become a powerful hub for managing text content and transforming it to other formats. The latest additions include stream editing, with selective removal of subtrees; automated generation of stylesheets for conversion to LaTeX and XHTML; parsing of plain text files into XML; management and validation of even huge files. The present release is a significant enhancement of previous releases, but preserves complete backward compatibility with previous releases. Lexxia is built on the established Limpid C++ library for DOM, XPath and XSLT and is very fast. It was developed for Linux and has been ported to Windows.
