KDevelop is a free, open source IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for MS Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Solaris and FreeBSD. It is a feature-full, plugin extensible IDE for C/C++ and other programming languages. It is based on KDevPlatform, and the KDE and Qt libraries.

I love the new syntax checking and analysis and code navigation in KDevelop 4.0. Simply the best IDE. Can't wait it the new series gets Java support.
Possibly the jewel of the crown for KDE, this is probably the best C/C++ development environment both for text terminal and KDE/Qt GUI apps. It should really help Windows developer to switch to Linux by providing a comfortable and competitive IDE.
The only thing missing is an interface builder and Java editing.
