XawTV is a simple Xaw-based TV program which uses the bttv driver or video4linux. It also contains various command-line utilities for grabbing images and AVI movies, tuning in TV stations, etc.

Works great, but can't get the sound to work though...

Great video quality, once I figured out that I need to use NTSC and such. Now I if I can just get the sound to work...

I've a problem with the sound, too..I can't hear any...since I am working with linux for the first time, I can't make any sense out of the various tips on the internet concerning this problem....what a pitty....Christine
