Getbinnews is a client for news server developed in C using the GTK user interface. The aim of Getbinnews is to search in some newsgroups a binary file (mp3, jpg, gif,mpg, asf, avi, divx...) splited in articles with mime or uuencode format.

I have searched for decent binary news readers and this is it. Don't tell me to use Pan, it is no up to the task. The latest version includes yenc capabilities. Easy to configure and use. Top notch. Gene Bodenberger
