FreedroidRPG is an isometric RPG game, inspired by Diablo and Fallout. There is a war. And we are losing it. No one really knows why the bots started killing us. Most don't even want to know. The human race is reduced to little more than a few isolated groups of people, trying to survive. Somewhere in a place known as Temple Wood, a hero is about to wake up from a long sleep.

I've followed this project for several years; it's definitely seen some improvement. For instance the last level "Hell Fortress" wasn't even finished when I first played through to the end. Beaten the thing twice from start to finish now. (different versions - savegames between major revisions like 0.12 & 0.13 aren't compatible) There are some lingering issues, most notably in the dialog system, such as being able to accept the same mission even after the person in question has bid you good luck. Be careful of exactly what you say to whom so you don't get some very important people mad at you. All in all the 0.13 version is quite polished enough to at least be worth your while...just don't expect perfection.
